Reflections

The Reflection Series was born from a fascination with water, light and the way reality distorts and transforms when seen through reflective surfaces. Traveling is the inspiration behind exploring how water mirrors its surroundings - sometimes with perfect clarity, other times in fluid, dreamlike distortions. These ever-changing and ephemeral reflections serve as a metaphor for perception, memory and the fleeting nature of experience.

Reflections

The first pieces of the series emerged from my time in Berlin, Valencia and Venice, observing the interplay of colors, movement and atmosphere in water reflections. In Patagonia, the reflections of stones in the Beagle Channel inspired the painting “Pedregoso” and Aquarelle Paintings.

The paintings invite to see beyond the surface, to experience movement within stillness and to reflect on own perspectives. Through oil, watercolor and cyanotype techniques, the series is continued, capturing the interplay between nature, perception and transformation.
