I am a polyglot artist, singer, and author whose practice intertwines visual art, language, and music. Travel, research, and encounters with diverse cultures deeply inform my work, as do periods of solitary immersion in nature, where I integrate its rhythms, textures, and silences into my creative process. Research and painting during my travels allow each landscape, culture, and encounter to shape my artistic language. My practice is rooted in a profound connection to the earth and its natural cycles; I explore the organic beauty of the world around us as both a source of connection and a vessel for memory.
Irrational Illusionism is the working and conceptual space I have developed—an interdisciplinary approach that merges painting, poetry, singing, and installation. It investigates alternative realities where the illogical, the unconscious, and the invisible find their expression.
My expressive oil paintings oscillate between figuration and abstraction, questioning perception, aesthetics, and identity. Many are accompanied by live singing or installed sound recordings of my texts and voice, transforming the viewing experience into a multisensory encounter. Within the creation and performance of my lyrical work, the overlapping media of music, voice, and dance serve as a translation of today’s saturation of media, sensory input, and stimuli—turning excess into new aesthetic forms.
Through Irrational Illusionism, I use imagination to open spaces of perception beyond the familiar and the logically graspable, inviting the viewer to inhabit realms where the seen and unseen, the spoken and painted, coalesce.
